Ireland in 4 Weeks!
Actually, it is less than that. I will be leaving for Boston in the morning of September 18th for a road-trip with my father. The drive should take 13 1/2 hours on the road, and I don?t know how long will stop any one place, but the idea is to switch off the driving and drive straight through, without hotel stops.
Our plane leaves Sept 19th @ 2:30 PM from Boston Logan Airport. We are driving to my brother?s in Cambridge, where we will leave the car.
Why drive to Boston ?
The answer can be summed up in one word: Skybus
Anyway. we fly from Boston to JFK and then fly to Dublin. We will arrive in Dublin at about 8 am on Saturday the 20th. Then we get to drive across the emerald isle to the west coast and the DIngle Peninsula. I?m wondering if driving across Ireland will take as long as driving to Boston ? I know there aren?t any freeways.
